  1. In the townland of Correvan lives a very good singer named James McCorry. One of his duties is singing in the choir every Sunday. Now and again whenever there is a concert in Blacklion he sings there also. He knows many old songs and sings them while he is at his work.
In the same townland there lived a good mower named Charles Maguire. He was able to mow eight cocks of hay every day in Summer time. he died about two weeks ago in his eighty fifth year.
