    There was a man wan night coming home from the fair of Ross.

    car. He told him to let go an he wouldn't, so he put up the gun an' fired at him. The strange man disappeared and the man with the horse went home. When he unyoked the horse this night he was alright, He wasn't a bit tired or hot or anything.
    The next morning there was a great big lump of jelly, about six or seven of it on the road where the man was shot. The man with the car was never troubled from that time until he died., and the strange man was never seen on the road afterwards.
