    When he went into the bar he called for two drinks and got them. Then he took off his hat and said, "Old hat, pay for that,""Is that right, Batman?" "Right, Oh!" answered the bar-man. Then the yank asked the man if he would sell his hat, so he said he would if he would give him two hundred pounds for it. So he gave the hat for two hundred pounds.
    The man went away with the money.
    The yank then went in for a drink and said to the old hat "pay for that" but nothing came out to pay for the drink. The yank was then very sorry for buying the hat at all.
