    carts. That road is still running from GallowsHill to Carrowmacshane.
    After GallowsHill road was made, the road out-side our school, which is called the "new road," was made.
    It was made by the Government and it is steam-rolled.
    It leads from Ballina to Ballycastle, and is nice for walking on.
    There are telegraph poles on the side of it, and also sign-poles.
    They made a lot of ciseacha for their donkey to travel to the bogs, and they made "near cuts" to the towns. All persons used those paths, and they would all go together to
