  2. In the south side of the church there is supposed to be a mill, and it is said that it is heard grinding at 12 o'clock on a Summer's day. It was never seen and they call it the 'Enchanted Mill".

  3. On the east side of the church, there is a wood, and there was a place for making clogs there about 40 yrs ago.
    There were four men making them and they used to send them to Ballinasloe in carts and from that to Dublin and
