    There was a man wan time an' he was an awful case for drinking...

    There was a man wan time and he was an awful case for drinking, and he was so bad he used to be in the horror. Wan night he was coming home from town and he was walking. There was another man coming home from town the same night and he had a horse and car and he had no load. When he was out about two miles from the town, he came up on this man, Jack Moore was his name. and he had two black dogs with him. This other man was greatly surprised when he saw the dogs for he knew that Jack had no dogs He stopped when he he was passing Jack and asked him would he get into the car. Jack said he would and welcome. When he got into the car, this man asked him when did he get the two dogs.
