- Once upon a time there was a Mission in a church and it was very crowded with people. One man went into the confessional box and sat there until he fell asleep. When he awoke the congregation was gone, and the church was locked and in darkness. He stayed for some time in a seat. Suddenly the altar was lighted up, and a priest came out in his vestments, and inquired in a loud voice three times if there was anybody there to serve Mass. The man did not answer, and the vision disappeared. When the church was opened the manw ent to the parish priest's house, and told him of what he had seen the night before. The priest asked the man to come with him the next night. They both went to te church, adn stayed there for some time.
The altar was lighted up again, and the priest appeared fully dressed to say Mass, and asked the same question as the previous night. The other priest answered, and said yes I am here. There dead priest began the Mass, and when it was over he said he got an offering(continues on next page)
