When the old people had a tooth-ache this is the prayer that they used say,
"Saint Peter sat on a marble stone,
Our blessed Redeemer came to him all alone,
And said what ails thee Saint Peter,
    Doth tooth-ache,
Rise up Peter and by thy (hail,) hate,
Any anyone who keeps those words for My sake,
    Shall never ail the tooth-ache."
