    shovels from the doors to get out to fodder the cattle. Horses, cattle and sheep were lost in great numbers.
    There came a sever storm on the 12th of May about 50 years ago. All the cattle and horses and sheep were on the mountains and many of them were lost. When the cattle were coming from the mountains with the cold on the morning of the storm they awoke all the people with their low. The storm lasted for two weeks. The people suffered a good deal out every day searching for their stock.

  2. There came a cyclone one time. There was a corpse going to Faithche and the cyclone took the lid off the coffin.
    The wind of 1839 brought oats from Frank McKeon out to the "allts" in Glangevlin. That storm came on the 6th of January.
    There came a snowfall one time that filled the "allts" between Carnfulla and Slievenakilla.
    There came a thunderstorm one time. There was a man in Doobally driving a cow. The thunderstorm killed himself and his cow.
