    THE CROCÁN
    is the name of a hollow with a little hill all round it on Myles McGrail's land.
    THE CÚLÁN
    is the name of a triangular field in Myles McGrail's land also.

    The above two names are common in the district. This first signifies a little hill with a gradual slope in every direction. The second is also applied to a little field usually triangular in shape.

    LOGÚN
    is the name of a field on Mrs Alice McGourty's land in the townland of Slievenakilla.

    COS CHAPAILL
    is the name of another field in Alice McGourty's land also. It was called that because it is the shape of a horse's foot.

    TULACH a' BHAINNE
    this is the name given to part of the mountain at "Loch na mBreac" where cows used to be milked long ago.

    CARRAIG a' LOCHA
    is a rock beside "Loch na mBreac"

    CLOCH BHÁN
    this is a large stone on the mountain. The mountain around it is called "Cloch Bhán Tulaigh".

    THE CORRACH
    is a large slough on the Slievenakilla mountain. It is a soft place in a hollow.

    POLL a' BHRIC
    is a rock on Slievenakilla mountain. There is a little stream going through the rock and one time trout were to be found in it.

    SPINNCÍN
    is a high hill on the Slievenakilla mountain.

    COR LOCH
    is the name of a hill on Slievenakilla mountain.

    POLL na CAILLIGHE
    is a large hole on the Slievenakilla
