   There was once an old lady living in Gortnagree named Mrs O'Shea. It was said that she walked to Cork and back again in one day. There was also another man living in Knockbawn and his name was Daniel O'Sullivan, it was also said that he carried his dead sister on his back from the top of Coomnacronnan mountain all along that rough place to his home in Knockbawn. He was never in the better of it after.
